Most People Chase Success On Facebook.

A lot of us are chasing someone else's success. It isn't because we don't want to be successful. It is because we like the idea of seeing someone else succeed. Social media has given us perfect windows into someone else's life that make it easy for us to not step inside of our own life.

Last year, I took a step away from social media in August. I was drowning in the wasted seconds, minutes and hours lost "liking" something someone else was doing. I found myself becoming less productive and depressed. It is something that a lot of people do not talk about.

Deep down inside, I know we are all not perfect. I know a lot of us are going through something but we don't show that vunerability.  We are scared to look like we are not perfect. We are scared to show that we don't have it all together. Perhaps, if we began to share those insecurities we can stop chasing the faux successes of someone else.
