What's Your Excuse?

Shaquem Griffin can bench press 215lbs with one hand. What's your excuse?

If you aren't paying attention to the things around you and taking note, then you are missing out on a lot. Every day, I get online, and I see people making tons of excuses for why they aren't successful and why they aren't happy.  This is the problem with complaining online; you aren't accomplishing anything because you aren't doing anything about the reason why you are complaining.

Shaquem Griffin was born with amniotic band syndrome. It is a disease that causes parts of your body to not fully develop. In Shaquem case, it was his left hand that did not fully develop. After trying to self-amputate his fingers due to the extreme pain, his parents finally took him to have his hand amputated.

Shaquem with one hand still excelled in football and received a scholarship offer to the University of Central Florida. What's your excuse?

If you want something bad enough in life, nothing will stop you from achieving it. There are no circumstances that can prevent you from achieving your goals. Stop making excuses and start taking action.

So what, your dad wasn't around for you growing up. So what, your parents didn't give you everything that Tommy had. So what, you grew up poor. So what, you didn't go to the best school, or you didn't live in the best neighborhood. So what, you think society has it out for you. So what, you don't have the best camera, or you don't live in the most photographic area. So what, you had kids young, and you have responsibilities. So what, you were born with one hand. Stop making excuses for why life is victimizing you and start making choices to change your situation. Life is about decisions, you can choose to be the victim, or you can decide to become a victor.

Shaquem Griffin has one hand and can bench press 215lb 20 times. He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.38 seconds, the fastest ever by a linebacker. It's possible he will be selected in the first three rounds of the NFL draft. Why aren't you successful? What's your excuse?
