I have always loved the printed image. I tell people that a photograph has a shelf life of about 300 years. A photograph will still be around even when the people are not. A picture tells a story that often brings back joy, heartache, laughter or sadness.
In January of 2014, Sam Sykes, my wife's grandfather passed away. Shortly after, in June of 2014 his wife, Flo Sykes passed away. I remember my wife and mother in law's heartbreak and tears. I also remember the stories of fond memories of these two amazing people. Sam and Flo will forever be in our hearts.
These are their memories. Images that have been printed kept, moved, shared, cried over and loved. They are memories that have not been forgotten but haven't been seen in a while.
